Design Process
Being introduced to the field of commodity trading for the first time, the first week was spent in understanding the domain in depth. The processes and terms used in the existing application had to be familiarized with. This was followed up with a detailed review of the existing application with the Nielson’s Heuristic principles. The recommendations were then used to do a redesign of the application, covering the major modules and the major screens.
The wireframes went through rounds of iteration and changes were made after discussion with the development team and the stake holders.
Total documentation of the new design that covered the Interaction Paradigms used, the navigations followed and the style of graphic assets were provided to the client at the end of the engagement.
